In present highly competitive market, the Supplier plays a crucial role in the full achievement of the Customer Satisfaction: the purchased goods decisively affect the final result in terms of cost, quality and services offered to the Customer.
 
GUIDELINES
The selection of and the appointment to Supplier are activities aimed at:
• Establishing solid, durable and exclusive working relationships with a limited number of Suppliers, which represent the Excellence in terms of technical and technological innovation, sensitivity to time to market and to containing/optimization of costs, services and quality (goal: “zero defects”);
• Working with Companies with Quality Management System certified by notified bodies, favoring Companies with certified Environmental Management System;
• Guaranteeing to the Customer the best total cost for the supplies in terms of price, service, quality and innovation.
 
EVALUATION CRITERIA
CALEFFI, following the philosophy of continuous improvement, evaluates and selects its Suppliers  according to objective and measurable parameters, that can improve their potentialities, resources and experiences, such as:
 
• Organizational structure and models;
• Adherence to a Quality Management System and to an Environmental Management System;
• Technical-planning and production capacity: goods/service adherence to the required technical specifications and support to the innovation/improvement of the product/process;
• Quality of the supplied goods, according to the CALEFFI Quality Management System requirements;
• Quality of the provided services, in terms of adherence to the delivery date and feedback promptness;
• Commercial availability: price transparency and support to cost reduction;
• Attention to environment, health and safety of the workplace.
